With it long experience in the lubricant market, Thai Petroleum & Trading Co., Ltd. has been inspired to explore into another field of energy source, Battery. In Thailand, most dealers who carry lubricants are also sell automotive batteries. In 2007, the company has acquired a local battery company and established a new Battery Manufacturing Plant at Phrasamutjadee District, Samutprakarn Province. After spending a few years in products and processes R&D, the company has launched TPS SPARK Automotive Battery to Thailand market and TPS CHAMPION to Export Markets in 2009. The export markets for automotive battery include Myanmar, Cambodia, Malaysia as well as Africa and Arab Countries. 

   The company is also proud to be appointed as an authorized distributor in Thailand for VARTA, the Premium Quality German Automotive Battery.
